Here is a good blog entry on metropolitan landfills and gas leaks, maybe councils should be looking at the use of landfill gas as a renewable energy. Seen as how the federal government is all keen on dealing with greenhouse gases maybe we now need laws to encourage councils and others to do more than just cover landfills [...]
